(no subject)

Okay. soo this is weirding me out. I have become one of those people on soap operas. its like those people that marry their ex husband's brother and then cheat on him with her ex husband's new wife. all on soap operas of course. on the other hand, i don't even know if i've ever seen a soap opera, except when i turn my cable box back on and its on channel 2 automatically and then like the young and the restless or some shit is on. or this one time when i was 10 that i ate mexican food in this weird dive with my mom.

but yeah anyway story. so. I hooked up with sara who went out with shane who had a crush on me and kissed me one time who was good friends with brian who had a crush on me. And now I just found out that he is going out with sara. fuckin weird, man.

and theres more. i met a girl hannah that i had a thing for and found out that she had gone out with a guy leo that i had hooked up with a few months previously. and now i'm seeing this guy EVERYWHERE. like, every time i go to union square i see him. oh and i think he tried to hit on me again because he forgot that we already had hooked up and i was like uhhh no thanks. also he went to a concert i got invited to. and one time when i saw leo in union square i also met this random guy eric doing this urban living room who was kinda hitting on me, and then my friend andrew invited me to the second urban living room and it turned out he was friends with the eric and that my friend lee had told me this whole long bad story months and months ago about that same guy eric who had tried to hit on me.

FUCK MY LIFE IS TOO MEANINGFUL AND CONNECTED!
hehe. its weird but entertaining to watch the soap opera which is life. love it.

Street Food (2 am Projectile Thought Vomiting Part 1)

The other day I was in MOMA
I looked at dead things and old things
I looked at paintings that were said to change your life
And then I tried to understand them
I left MOMA in about half an hour
I wasn’t impressed by the paintings
I guess that I’m not intellectual
Because I don’t understand stuff
I don’t understand art or sex
I don’t understand love or hate
I don’t understand religion or emotions
I don’t understand anything
But I still would say I’m pretty smart
Even if I can’t appreciate art
Then I went outside and got
Food from the street stand

Sometimes I will go
Into the city
And I’ll get street food
From the street stands
It tastes pretty bad
And it’s unhealthy
But I still like street food
I’m not really sure why
But I do

The other day
I was walking in the city
After seeing the Christmas tree
And there was this diner
It was called “The Diner”
I was with there with a friend
I ordered lasagna
But then I was still hungry
So I went to a street corner
And bought some nuts 4 nuts
Because I’m a nut and I like nuts
And I like street food

Sometimes I will go
Into the city
And I’ll get street food
From the street stands
It tastes pretty bad
And it’s unhealthy
But I still like street food
I’m not really sure why
But I do

Just like a true Long Islander, by "The City" I mean NYC

Songs. Feedback please, if anyone ever reads this...

My dad and friends like it, but that says very little about the quality of the work... its cool if you think it sucks, but if you're going to post please don't be TOO mean...I also don't know about a title...

I apologize for my social ineptitude
But I to am owed an apology I believe
But you’re rude
Rude
And shouldn’t put the beat down
On those with low self esteem
Who are smaller than you (two claps)
Speaking of their power complex
They’ve got more complexities
Then you would ever want or need
So I guess we’ll have to count you out

Shout
Hello in the mall and on the streets
Shout
For what you want and what you need
Shout
For generosity and greed
Shout for acquaintances best friends and bestest lovers till the end

By judging you I let me judge myself
Begrudging you for your full stocked shelf
But maybe the high life
Isn’t the right life for me
Maybe you’re jealous
Of the fact that I seem free
I know that I envy your popularity

Shout
Hello in the mall and on the streets
Shout
For what you want and what you need
Shout
For generosity and greed
Shout for acquaintances best friends and bestest lovers till the end

Is the way for you all easy comes, easy goes as it comes
But raindrops on the glass
Always seem pretty from the window
But then they keep on falling
And crawling off the edge
Onto the pretty head of a pissed off girl
She opens her mouth to

Shout
Hello in the mall and on the streets
Shout
For what you want and what you need
Shout
For generosity and greed
Shout for acquaintances best friends and bestest lovers till the end
Shout
Don’t shut up don’t shut up don’t shut out
Shout
Don’t shut up don’t shut up don’t shut me out
Shout
For generosity and greed
Shout for acquaintances best friends and bestest lovers till the end

Margot Tenenbaum and Wes Anderson

I want to be Margot Tenenbaum. Not that I actually desire to have a wooden finger, be a hardcore smoker, or be secretly in love with my half-brother. What I want is her essence. I want to bottle Margot Tenebaum's mojo and pour it down my throat. There is just something about her that is so incredibly sexy. Her every movement speaks grace and bad-ass at the same time. I love her name too. Its one of those ugly-pretty names that only the sexiest most ultra-confident chick can pull off. Hugest girl-crush ever. Although I don't think I have a girl-crush on Gweneth Paltrov, just Margot. In fact, I think my girl-crush says more about Wes Anderson then Gweneth.

Wes Anderson, according to IMBD, was a writer and director in The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, The Squid and the Whale, The Life Aquatic, Darjeeling Limited and its partner Hotel Chevalier, and is currently working on The Fantastic Mr. Fox. I haven't seen Rushmore or Bottle Rocket, but I plan too. Not that I know anything about them, I just trust that I will enjoy anything Wes Anderson is involved in. I found the Squid and the Whale extremely disturbing, however. I still think of some of the more shocking scenes at random times and places, probably with a rather strange look on my face. His movies all taste the same, but not in the way that they have the same plotline, although he does repeatedly work with the same people. He has similar filming techniques, cast, and just overall feeling, but each movie has a completely different plot and setting. If you love one, you'll most likely love the rest. If you hate one, you'll most likely hate the rest. And I love them. He is amazing, and I want to learn more about him.

Back to Margot, I recently read an interesting (to me) article about the original Margot Tenenbaum while surfing around. http://www.observer.com/node/45407 is the web address.

This has been my first post. Hm.
